Carley Summers Design is a full-service interior design studio founded on the belief—and firsthand experience—that home has the power to inspire healing, safety, hospitality, and growth. Rooted in the stories and authentic identities of our clients, the spaces we create are designed to foster meaningful connection and become deeply personal places to live, gather, and grow.

For Carley, the meaning of home is deeply personal. Her appreciation for design—and the beginnings of what would eventually become her calling—can be traced back to a transformative season in her own life. After years marked by alcoholism and addiction, including periods of instability, jail, emergency rooms, and rehab, Carley entered recovery. During her time in rehab, after coming close to homelessness, she was given a space of her own for the first time. That experience profoundly shaped her understanding of the comfort, safety, and healing a thoughtfully created environment can provide.

Years later, Carley began her creative career as an interior photographer, capturing not only beautiful spaces but the stories of the people who lived within them. Her work behind the camera eventually led her to establish her namesake interior design studio, where she could take an even more meaningful role in creating those spaces herself.

Today, Carley brings her life experience and creative perspective together to design homes that feel warm, welcoming, and deeply personal. Alongside her intimate team of designers, she approaches each project as an opportunity to steward both their creative gifts and their clients’ resources with care—creating spaces that honor where their clients have been, embrace where they are today, and make room for the life still ahead of them.

For Carley, interior design is about far more than creating beautiful rooms. It is about creating sacred spaces where people can feel at home, extend hospitality, connect with the people they love, and build a life within the walls around them.
